At this afternoon’s E-Board meeting, the E-Board took steps to increase the local’s communication options and to move union communication to non-school servers and programs. We continue to work with the MTA to build our capacity to serve you.

This week, you will receive a feedback form asking you express any concerns or questions you may have about the union, the contract, or conditions in your building. While you are welcome and encouraged at any time to contact your Building Representative, I hope that this will serve as a reminder that communication is essential to the BEA’s mission.

In order to provide more information about the benefits of union membership and to alert you to breaking information, the BEA is creating an email database. Your Building Representative will be stopping by to collect or confirm a home email address. We won’t clutter up your in-box - emails will be limited to newsletters, benefits information, and essential communication.
